What happens if regulations or vehicle layouts change in the future?

We design chevrons with flexibility in mind. If you replace a vehicle or need to update markings, we can adapt existing artwork rather than starting from scratch, helping reduce future costs and delays.

Can you match chevrons across a fleet or future vehicles?

Yes. We save all artwork and layouts securely, making it easy to roll out consistent chevrons across multiple vehicles or match new vehicles as your fleet grows.

How much downtime will my safety vehicle have?

In most cases, chevrons can be fitted within a few hours. For best results, we may recommend the vehicle is left with us or off road briefly to allow adhesives to fully bond, reducing the risk of failure once the vehicle is back in service. In most cases you will have same say turn-around

How long do safety chevrons last in real working conditions?

When correctly installed, our chevrons are designed to last 5–7 years under normal commercial use. We use durable, outdoor rated materials and allow proper curing time to prevent lifting, edge failure, or premature wear.

Will chevrons fit around windows, sensors, or rear doors properly?

Yes. Every chevron kit is custom fitted to the vehicle, taking into account rear windows, split doors, hinges, sensors, cameras, and handles. We never use “one size fits all” layouts that compromise visibility or compliance.

What’s the difference between engineering grade and prismatic reflective?

Engineering grade reflective is suitable for lower risk, urban, or occasional roadside use. Prismatic reflective offers much higher reflectivity and is typically required for motorway, highway, and night time operations. We’ll recommend the correct grade so you’re not under or over specifying.

Are your chevrons Chapter 8 compliant?

Yes. Our chevron kits are produced using Chapter 8 compliant layouts and approved reflective materials, with correct colour contrast, angles, and coverage based on vehicle type. We’ll also advise whether engineering grade or prismatic reflective is appropriate for how your vehicle is used.

Do my vehicles actually need safety chevrons?

Safety chevrons are required or strongly recommended for vehicles that stop, work, or operate on or near live roads, especially highways and high speed routes. Many fleets fit chevrons to meet UK Chapter 8 guidance, improve rear-end visibility, and reduce risk to drivers and the public.
